How do I actually get in front of clients?

Hi  {{ first_name }}

after Thursday's webinar, the most common question was:

"This all makes sense — but how do I get the first conversations with clients?"

Fair question. A great positioning and offer don't help if no one knows you exist.

Here's what most independent consultants get wrong:

They try everything at once.
LinkedIn posts.
Cold emails.
Networking events.
Referrals.

Nothing gets enough focus to actually work.

What successful consultants do differently:

They pick 1-2 channels and make them reliable:

  • LinkedIn outreach with a clear message

  • Warm introductions from a structured network

  • Speaking or writing that pulls people in

Then they connect those channels to a simple process: first conversation → discovery call → proposal.

No magic. Just consistency.

The webinar covered what to say once you're in the room. But getting in the room is its own system — and we build that in Week 3.

Want to talk about what would work for your situation?

When you leave corporate, you don't lose your competence.
You lose your systems. That’s why independence feels harder than it should. Not because you suddenly became “less capable.”Not because your experience stopped mattering. But because, overnight, four invisible systems disappear — and nobody warns you. “Leaving corporate doesn’t remove your value. It removes your systems.” In corporate life, you were surrounded by structure: A brand that opened ...
How I wasted months after leaving corporate (and the 3 mindset traps that caused it)
A senior executive wrote to me after taking the Index:  “Dieter — this is spot on. But why do I still feel stuck, even though I’m doing ‘the right things’?” I know that feeling. When I left corporate and started building Brandt & Partners, I thought my experience would protect me. It didn’t. In the first months, I worked hard — but on the wrong things.I stayed “busy” — but didn’t create momen...
