September this year starts in June

There is a certain feeling in September.
You know it.

The summer is not fully over yet, but something in the air changes.
People return from vacation.
Business conversations restart.
Projects move again.
Decisions get made.
It feels like a new beginning.

And for many senior executives who think about starting their own consulting business, September becomes the mental starting line.

“After the summer, I will really look into it.”
“After the holidays, I will create my concept.”
“Once September starts, I will finally move.”

I understand this very well.

But there are two very different versions of September.

Version A:

You arrive in September with the same questions you had in May.

What exactly should I offer?
Who is my ideal client?
How do I position myself?

Should I focus on consulting, coaching, executive search, interim management — or something else?

How do I win the first clients?
How do I turn my corporate experience into an entrepreneurial model that works?

And suddenly, the September energy does not feel like a fresh start.
It feels like pressure. Because the ambition is there.

The idea of creating something of your own is there. But clarity is missing.

And when clarity is missing, your mind keeps working — sometimes even at night.

Version B:

You use July and August differently.

Not to build everything.
Not to overthink everything.
Not to create the perfect website, logo, or LinkedIn banner.
But to create clarity.

You understand what your real market value is.
You translate your corporate experience into a consulting offer.
You identify the type of clients you can truly help.
You learn how to start conversations that can lead to mandates.
You stop searching randomly.
You start building with direction.

And when September arrives, it feels different.
You are not starting from confusion.
You are starting from clarity.

A while ago, someone told me that a friend had sent him the link to my webinar “From Executive to Entrepreneur.”

He joined.

Not because he wanted another motivational session.
He joined because he was looking for orientation.
He wanted to understand whether his experience could become the foundation for something new.

After the webinar, he told me that it helped him see the path more clearly.

That is exactly the purpose.
Not to promise an easy shortcut.
But to show what it really takes to move from an executive career into your own consulting business.

With structure.
With realism.
With confidence.
And with the right next steps.

The next live webinar takes place on June 30, 2026:

From Executive to Entrepreneur

How senior executives can turn experience into a consulting business with clarity, positioning, and first client conversations.

If you are considering this step to create your own consulting business, June 30 is a good moment to start.

Because July and August can become more than summer months.
They can become preparation months.
Months in which you move from vague ideas to a clearer direction.

So that September does not begin with another round of searching.

It begins with momentum.
It begins with focus.

It begins with the feeling:
“I know what I am building now.”

It won’t take you more than 4-5 hours a week.

And one final thought...

Perhaps you know a senior executive who is close to making this leap.

Someone who has achieved a lot in corporate life, but now feels that the next chapter should be more independent, more personal, and more entrepreneurial.
Someone who is not lacking experience — but looking for clarity.
Someone who just lost a senior level job and searches for a new beginning.

If such a person comes to your mind, I would be grateful if you shared this newsletter or the webinar invitation with them.

Sometimes one forwarded email can arrive exactly at the right moment.

And please join the upcoming webinar From Executive to Entrepreneur on June 30, 2026.

This could be the moment where your next chapter becomes much clearer.

A beautiful website will not save an unclear offer
When you move from executive to entrepreneur, visibility is not the first problem. Relevance is.  I hear this sentence quite often from senior executives who are preparing their next chapter: “I need to become more visible first. I have invested in my own website. It is almost ready.” I understand this very well. After many years in corporate life, we want things to look professional.A clear pr...
Going independent is not the risk. Building without a system is.
Dear Reader, In almost every conversation I have with senior executives considering the move into independence, the same fear surfaces. Usually late. Usually quietly. It sounds like this: "And what happens when, after a good start, there are suddenly three months with nothing?" I understand that fear completely. I have lived it. And here is what I have learned: those empty months are real — but...
Use this summer to set up your business?
What if you used this summer to set up your future consulting business? That way, when the “back-to-business energy” returns in September, you have already done the important groundwork. Not everything. But enough to stop thinking in circles.Enough to move from vague ideas to a first structure. Enough to know:Who you want to serve. What problem you want to solve. How your experience becomes an off...
